Metrozubdivision History
Metrozubdivision was a Venezuelan group that was created in 1998 by an initiative of the brother’s Bobby Peru and Gabriel Madison.
His musical proposal was based on the fusion of rock with electronic instruments and, under the production of the genius of electronic music Luar Aleman known as Ojo Fatuo, creator in large part of the movement of electronic music in Venezuela and graduated from the “Taller de Arte Sonoro” (TAS), They record their first album.
That same year they made their first live appearance and in 1999 they received the “Premios Urbe” Award as “Best Revelation Band” thus becoming an established brand in the Venezuelan music scene.
In 2000 they released their first Lp “The black album”. With this disc, Metrozubdivision gets 6 nominations to the “Pop and Rock” awards taking the awards to “Best Revelation Band” and “Best Graphic Concept”.
After having shared stage with various rock bands the group decided to leave and moved to Denver Colorado following Ojo Fatuo who had settled in that city. They begin a tour of the United States where the great musical affluence both at the level of styles and at the level of immediate exposure helps them to nourish the roots of what would be their next plate of study.
After spending 2 years playing and composing in the United States, Metrozubdivision decides to return to Venezuela to begin the process of recording their new musical production. This process leads them to compose more than 50 songs and to develop a more personal and unique musical style, thus redefining their current sound. In 2007, Metrozubdivision decided to release new songs as promotional singles to radios and also to release their new album. The band is confirmed by: Bobby Peru (voices, guitars & quasimidi) Gabriel Madison (guitars, low cut morph sinthe) Fernando Batoni (Bass, Samplers, keyboards & child screams) Production of the first Disc was in charge of (Luar Alemán) Fatuous EYE (Ojo Fatuo).
